Dar Dyalna, Our Home

The view from our upper terrace.

For the first time in what seems like ages, we will finally have a place to call our own, our dar dyalna, our home. Though our home stays with Moroccan families have been incredible, there is nothing quite like having one’s own space. Ever since we left our jobs last summer, we have, more or less, been living out of suitcases.

Above is the view from our upper terrace (we have two) and below are photos from within. It’s a reasonably new place with three bedrooms and a kitchen on the main floor, an additional room and bathroom upstairs, and two terraces. Not bad for 1000 dirhams, around 100 US dollars.

We have plenty of space for visitors, so anyone traveling through give us a shout!
